GRA Consultation: make your voice heard

We stand for respectful and evidence-based discussion about the impact of the proposed changes to the Gender Recognition Act and for women’s voices to be heard. The government consultation on GRA reform is open and will run for 16 weeks, closing on 19th October.

To make the process of filling in the online consultation easier, the government recommend first downloading and reading the full consultation document before starting the on-line survey.

We recommend this too.

The consultation has 22 questions. Having started the online survey questions, you can  save your answers, take your time and come back to it later.

The consultation is for individuals and for organisations.

Your voice matters.

If you are responding on behalf of an organisation: say who you represent, the size of your organisation, and how the views of members have been sought.

Woman’s Place UK are preparing our own submission, which we will publish as well as commentary on the consultation documents.

There are key questions that relate to our 5 demands and we would be interested in your thoughts on these. We will tweet them out over the next few days. This will help us make a robust response but we hope it will also help you with your own individual  response.

So let’s get the hive mind going with some initial thinking.

Take your time.

We have until 19th October.

Don’t rush.

We believe that it is important to share a range of viewpoints on women’s rights and advancement from different perspectives. WPUK does not necessarily agree or endorse all the views that we share.
